BREAKING: Woods, Mickelson, Brady & Manning to Play Golf Match for Charity

The Tiger Woods – Phil Mickelson rematch involving NFL legends Peyton Manning and Tom Brady is on.
The event titled “The Match: Champions for Charity,” does not have a set date or venue, but according to Turner Sports it will take place in late May.
The match will air LIVE on TNT and benefit COVID-19 relief.
According to Turner Sports, both Woods and Mickelson need to obtain a release from the PGA Tour because it is a non-sanctioned event.
Turner adds that tournament organizers are working with state and local government and public health officials on competition and production logistics to make sure the event follows safety and health protocols.

The Original Match
The original match between Woods and Mickelson took place in November of 2018 at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas.
Mickelson beat Woods in playoff and took home $9 million.
