Kings Crossing Switches to Foam Inserts

Kings Crossing is the latest golf course in Rhode Island to switch from raised cups to foam inserts.

As GolfNewsRI reported earlier this week, Fenner Hill is another club that has made the switch.

Kings Crossing inserts appear to be inside the cup, allowing the ball to go in the hole and be easily taken out.

This would appear to give players a more accurate representation of whether they made or missed a putt.

The raised cups and foam inserts are all in an effort to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
