Faxon Returning to Instagram LIVE Friday Afternoon

Rhode Island’s Brad Faxon is returning to the Instagram airwaves on Friday afternoon

“Hope everyone is staying healthy and happy. Doing my best to put out some fun content for everyone,” wrote Faxon in an Instagram post on Thursday.

Faxon last went LIVE on Instagram on Wednesday afternoon to talk about putting, as well as, the game of golf.

GolfNewsRI joined the Instagram LIVE during the question and answer section to ask Faxon about Metacomet Country Club. He did not answer the question.

Faxon & Metacomet

Faxon was part of a group of investors that included Steve Napoli, Brendan VanDeventer, Tim Fay and Karl Augenstein.

The group bought Metacomet for a reported $2.3 million in 2019, before flipping it to Marshall Development in February.

Marshall is planning to redevelop the property, making this season the last for the Donald Ross-designed Metacomet.

“Marshall plans to redevelop the site into an exciting first-class mixed-use property that will bolster both commerce and community in the upper bay.  In the coming months, a vision for the property will be unveiled – a vision that will further strengthen East Providence and Rhode Island’s economy through investment, job creation and the development of a vibrant center of activity in one of the state’s top communities,” said Marshall in a statement.
