COMING MONDAY: High School Golf Previews
GolfNewsRI’s coverage of High School Golf is presented by Golf365RI.
Starting on Monday, GolfNewsRI will be rolling out high school golf previews for the 2026 season.
The goal is to run two division previews per day, one in the morning and another going up in the afternoon, that way by Wednesday (April 8) they are all up on site.
A couple of teams may have already started their seasons and so it is important to try and get them up in a timely manner.
The high school season is starting earlier this year due to weather issues ( now and in the future), a late April vacation and an early Memorial Day.

Over the last few days and the coming day or two, GNRI has talked to more than a dozen coaches across all divisions.
The coaches provided valuable insights to their respective teams, general thoughts on the upcoming high school golf season and more.
Who are the favorites? the players to watch? a new crop of star freshmen? It will all be covered.
