GolfNewsRI’s Women’s Players to Watch in 2026
Rhode Island may be the smallest state, but it is full of great golf talent, with more on the way.
Whether it’s talent that is still playing locally or talent that has taken the next step in their careers, Rhode Island has a lot to be excited about in 2026.
With the Players to Watch, GolfNewsRI aims to highlight two men’s and two women’s players that could be/will be making moves during the 2026 season.
And not necessarily the star players.
So without further ado, here are GolfNewsRI’s Women’s Players to Watch in 2026:
Elizabeth & Kamryn Kue
Elizabeth and Kamryn Kue are bringing Johnston High School back into the picture.
Most recently, the sisters finished inside the top ten at the Ocean State Junior Classic, with Elizabeth taking second behind tournament winner Vinny Papa.
Kamryn finished sixth.
Going back to the 2025 high school season, Elizabeth ranked third in the state in iWR as a sophomore behind only Adriana Eaton and Olivia Williams.
She had a scoring average of 36 on nine holes, according to the RIIL App.

Kamryn, a freshman, ranked eighth in iWR and had a scoring average of 39 on nine holes, according to the app.
Entering their junior and sophomore seasons respectively, expect to see the Kue sisters near the top of leaderboards and in contention at the High School State Championship.
The future looks bright for Johnston HS golf.
PC Commit Bailey Baio
Shift to college golf for the second woman to watch.
The Providence College Women’s Golf Team is in the midst of their inaugural season, and like anything that starts from scratch, it is going to take time to build.
Enter 2026 commit Bailey Baio.
The daughter of Happy Days actor Scott Baio will join Providence in the fall of 2026 as a freshman out of IMG Academy.

Baio has played in and posted good results at some big junior golf tournaments over the course of the last season or two and it is clear from her Instagram page that she really works on her game.
Speaking of Instagram….
With more than 15K followers on Instagram, Baio is a little bit of a celebrity in her own right.
Just about everything she posts gets tons of action between likes, comments shares etc.. and she has already mentioned/repped PC in various ways throughout the last few months.
Once Baio arrives in 2026, obviously, on course results are the priority.
But, if over the course of her collegiate career, she uses her platform to bring attention to the team, other players, and PC in general, that could serve as a huge boost for the PC Women’s Golf program as it continues to build.
Honorable Mention
Adriana Eaton – As mentioned above, these “Players to Watch” articles are not necessarily about the star players.
However, GNRI is giving an honorable mention to Moses Brown star Adriana Eaton who has a chance to win her third High School State Championship title in four years.
The Moses Brown senior fired a first round 66 in last year’s tournament and was untouched the rest of the way.
Most recently, Eaton just finished second down at Doral and should be announcing a college decision soon.
