Bobby Leopold and former URI star Bryson Richards both missed the match play at the U.S. Amateur on Tuesday at Hazeltine National in Minnesota.
Leopold finished the two round stroke play portion at two-over with a round of 75 at Hazeltine and a round of 69 at Chaska.
Richards carded rounds of 69 at Chaska and a 77 at Hazeltine to finish at four-over for the tournament.
The cut was even par.
