Welch, Chatfield Wrap up Rookie Seasons on Korn Ferry Tour
Davis Chatfield and Patrick Welch wrapped up their rookie seasons on the Korn Ferry Tour on Sunday afternoon in the Korn Ferry Tour Championship at Victoria National Golf Club in Indiana.
Welch finished in a tie for 30th with a tournament score of even par for the week.
The Classical grad carded a final round 69, which was his best round of the tournament.
Welch will finish 74th on the KFT points list and will have the option to play in the second round of PGA Tour Q School.
Chatfield finished the Korn Ferry Tour Championship in a tie for 36th with a tournament score of one-over par.
The former RI Amateur Champ posted rounds of 75, 70, 74, and 70 to finish the season.
He will also have the option to skip to the second stage of PGA Tour Q School.
They have both locked up Korn Ferry Tour status for the 2024 season.
Paul Barton won the Korn Ferry Tour Championship and is headed to the PGA Tour next season.
