Where does Rhode Island rank in the U.S. when it comes to average Handicap Index?
According to data from the USGA World Handicap Index, and first reported by Golf Digest, the Ocean State ranks 34th int he U.S. when it comes to Handicap Index.
Rhode Island has a Handicap Index of 16.6, which is tied with South Carolina and Wisconsin.
Recently, GolfNewsRI unveiled survey data that shows the majority of people who responded were between a 10 and 20 handicap.
The lowest handicap index in the U.S. comes from Mississippi at 11.8.
