Kirkbrae’s Hamilton Wins Sprague Stroke Average Award
Kirkbrae Country Club’s Mike Hamilton has won the Joseph J. Sprague Stroke Average Award.
Hamilton’s average was a state-best 71.85 this season.
The average is made up of all Rhode Island individual events, as well as, qualifying for events such as the New England Amateur and USGA qualifiers.
This past season, Hamilton made it to the quarterfinals of the RI Amateur at Kirkbrae where he lost to Andrew O’Leary in an epic match.
Most recently, he finished second to Kevin Blaser in the Burke Memorial Tournament.
