Rhode Island’s Allison Paik lost to Rebecca Skoler in the round of 16 at the Massachusetts Women’s Amateur on Wednesday afternoon.
Paik, the defending champion, lost to top-seeded Skoler two-down.
As Paik told The Golf Dudes, this was her last competitive tournament before heading back to college at Columbia University.
The Match
After being two-down after the first three holes, Paik tied the match on the sixth hole.
Skoler went one up on the ninth hole and then two-up on the 14th hole.
Paik got one back on 15 to get the match back to one-down, before Skoler won the 18th hole to take the match two-up.
