Jasper Bruins Slot Finishes 2nd at Little East Golf Championship
Scituate’s Jasper Bruins Slot finished in a tie for second overall at the 2023 Little East Men’s Golf Championship this past weekend in Maine.
Bruins Slot carded rounds of 70 and 76 to finish six-over for the tournament and earn the second place finish.
He was also named to First Team All-Little East.
Rhode Island College finished in fifth place out of six teams with a score of 645 for the two rounds.
Eastern Connecticut won the title (590; 303, 287), followed by Keene State (619; 308, 311), Vermont State University Castleton (633; 321, 312), Southern Maine (643; 326, 317), the Anchormen and Western Connecticut (655; 327, 328).
Rhode Island College will close out the fall portion of their schedule at the Eastern Connecticut Invitational on Wednesday, Oct. 11.
