Roger Williams Golf Win Saints Invitational
Two tournaments and two wins for the Roger Williams University golf team.
Led by Samuel Johnson and former Toll Gate star Ryan Dacey, Roger Williams carded a team score of 328 to beat Norwich by five shots.
Dacey finished in fourth place overall for the tournament, carding an 81 for the round.
Johnny Doherty fired an 84 (+12) was the third lowest scorer for the Hawks, being tied for sixth with two others.
Rounding out the scorers for Roger Williams, Chris Locke carded an 86 (+14), and Will Reece (Charlton, Mass.) posted a 90 (+18) on the day.
The Hawks will compete on Saturday, Oct. 7 and Sunday, Oct. 8 at the Skidmore College Invitational at the Saratoga Spa Golf Course.
The Hawks will then compete at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championships on Friday, Oct. 13.
