Roger Williams Wins RIC Invitational
Roger Williams University won the Rhode Island College Invitational on Thursday at Valley Country Club.
The Hawks finished with a team score of 304 to win the tournament.
RIC finished in second with a team score of 330.
Leading RWU
The Hawks were led by Will Lafrance who carded a one-under 71, while Trevor Hada finished second with a score of 76.
Former Toll Gate star Ryan Dacey fired a 78 to finish in fifth place in his first collegiate tournament.
Roger Williams will take part in the Emmanuel College Invitational on Wednesday, Sept. 20 at South Shore Country Club.
Leading RIC
The Anchormen were led by Jasper Bruins Slot, who finished in a tie for second overall with a score of 76.
Cameron Mello carded a 78 to finish in a tie for fifth, while Noah Weik finished in solo tenth.
Rhode Island College will compete at the Westfield State Invitational on Wednesday, Sept. 20.
