RI Boys Finish Tied 4th at New England Junior Amateur

The Rhode Island boys finished in a tie for fourth at the New England Junior Amateur on Wednesday at Mount Washington Resort Golf Club in New Hampshire.
As a team, the boys carded a three-round score of 20-over par to tie with Maine for fourth.

Massachusetts ran away with the tournament at 33-under par, while Connecticut finished second at 13-under.
New Hampshire took third at 19-over.Vermont was last.
Rhode Island has not won the event since 2015.
Individual Tournament
Max Jackson led Rhode Islanders at three-over par and finished in solo 15th for the tournament.
Cole Vieira and Ryan Marcantonio finished one shot behind him at four-over, while Rocco Capalbo finished in 18th at five-over.
Sam Fuentes finished 26th, Sebastian Carlsson 32nd and Will Owens took 37th.
URI commit Luke Stennett won the individual tournament at 12-under par over three rounds.
He edged Josiah Hakala and Eli Spaulding by one shot.
