Bryant’s Ty Dupuis Advances to U.S. Amateur

Bryant University senior Ty Dupuis is headed to the U.S. Amateur.
Dupuis carded a 36-hole score of 3-under at Ledgemont to win medalist honors at U.S. Amateur Qualifying on Tuesday and advance.

Dupuis fired rounds of 70 and 69 on Tuesday to win medalist honors by one shot over Florida’s Nicholas Solimene, who is also advancing to the Amateur.
This is the second straight year in which a Bryant golfer will head to the Amateur after Jack Woods went last year.
The 2023 U.S. Amateur will be held at Cherry Hills Country Club in Colorado from August 14-20.
There is a three-for-two playoff for the two alternate spots ongoing.
The playoff includes URI star Bryson Richards.
Richards gets first alternate.
