Multiple Rhode Islanders Advance to New England Amateur
Multiple Rhode Islanders advanced to the New England Amateur on Tuesday afternoon at Crestwood Country Club.
Former Barrington High School star Ryan Ricci and Glocester’s Jon Cooper led all the locals with a one-under 70 to finished in a tie for seventh.
Potowomut’s Justin Grenier and Ledgemont’s Nathan Kaufman made the cut right on the number at one-over.
Overall, the top 21 players advanced to the championship at The Woodlands Club.
The 2023 New England Amateur is set for July 18-20 at The Woodlands Club in Maine.
