Bryant’s Tyler Dupuis Takes Medalist Honors at Mass Open Qualifier

Bryant University star Tyler Dupuis took medalist honors at the Massachusetts Open Qualifier at Pleasant Valley Country Club.
Dupuis carded a four-under 68 to win honors by two shots over Alex Xarras.
“The rising senior at Bryant University had a superb round of 4-under 68, highlighted by six birdies. Dupuis made the turn at 1-under par and proceeded to close his round strong with a bogey free 3-under on his final nine to claim medalists honors by two shots,” writes Mass Golf.
The Mass Open is set to take place from June 12-14 at TPC Boston.
Dupuis’ Round
After opening with three straight pars, Dupuis then birdied the next three holes to get to three-under on the round.
He parred out to remain at that number at the turn.
On the back side, Dupuis birdied the 11th hole, but then made back-to-back bogeys on the 12th and 13th holes.
Dupuis closed out the round with birdies on the 14th and 18th holes to take medalist honors.
