Chatfield Finishes 61st at KFT’s HomeTown Lenders Championship
After a top 20 finish last week, Davis Chatfield finished in a tie for 61st at the HomeTown Lenders Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour on Sunday.
The tournament was shortened to 54 holes after wheather washed out the first day.
Chatfield finished one-under for the tournament with rounds of 66, 71 and a final round 72.
Chatfield is projected to slip from 84th on the Korn Ferry Tour points list to 88th.
He has already locked up Korn Ferry Tour status for the rest of the season.
Chatfield’s Final Round
Starting on the back side, the former Rhode Island Amateur champ got off to a good start – a birdie on the tenth hole.
However, that would be his only birdie of the day.
Chatfield bogeyed the 17th to turn at even par and then made two bogeys on the front side to card a two-over round.
In the tournament, Chatfield hit 74% of fairways and 72% of greens in regulation.
However, he lost nearly two strokes in putting to the field.
