Back 9 Bogeys Hurt Chatfield in Round 1 of Astara Chile Classic

Davis Chatfield made two back nine bogeys en route to a first round 73 (1-over) at the Astara Chile Classic on the Korn Ferry Tour on Thursday.
With play suspended due to darkness, Chatfield currently sits in a tie for 125th.
As of Thursday night, the projected cut is two-under par. Though certainly, things can change.
Max Greyserman leads the way at eight under par.
Chatfield’s Round
Chatfield opened the round with a birdie on the par-5 third hole, but gave it right back with a bogey on the fifth hole.
The former Rhode Island Amateur champ closed the front nine strong with a birdie on the ninth hole to turn at one-under 35.
On the back side, Chatfield started smoothly with two pars, but made a bogey on the 12th hole to fall back to even par.
Chatfield would drop another shot on the 16th to card a 73.
