VIDEO: Chatfield Makes Cut at KFT’s Club Car Championship
Davis Chatfield carded a three-under 69 to make the cut at the Korn Ferry Tour’s Club Car Championship on Friday afternoon in Georgia.
This is the third cut that Chatfield has made in five Korn Ferry Tour starts since earning his exemption through Q School.
Chatfield is tied for 44th overall at three-under and the lead is nine-under.
Chatfield’s Day
Chatfield started the day early in the morning with the final two holes of his first round after round one play was suspended.
The former Notre Dame star birdied the 17th hole to get to even par for the day and save par on 18 to stay there heading into round two.
After a short break, Chatfield was back on the course for round two, starting on the back side.
After opening with a par, Chatfield birdied the 11th hole, then made back-to-back bogeys on the 12th and 13th holes to fall to over par for the tournament.
He bounced back with a birdie on the 15th hole to get back to even par, which is what he turned at.
On the front side, Chatfield birdied the third hole, made another birdie on the fifth hole and closed with another bird on the seventh to get to three under for the tournament and inside the cut line.
