Chatfield in 95th as Play Suspended at KFT’s Club Car Championship
Former Rhode Island Amateur champ Davis Chatfield sits in a tie for 95th through 16 holes in round one of the Club Car Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour.
Play was suspended due to darkness and will resume first thing in the morning.
Chatfield is one-over for the tournament with the par-3 17th and par05 18 left to play.
Chatfield’s Round
Following three pars to start the day, Chatfield made back-to-back bogeys, followed by a birdie on the sixth hole to be at one-over.
He made another bogey on the ninth hole to turn at two-over.
The former Notre Dame star opened the back nine with a string of pars, before dropping a birdie on the 15th hole.
He parred 16 just before the horn blew.
He has not teed off on 17 yet.
