Scheffler Wins Players Championship
Scottie Scheffler rolled in five straight birdies to pull away from the field and win The Players Championship on Sunday afternoon at TPC Sawgrass.
Scheffler finished the tournament at 17-under par to beat Tyrrell Hatton by five shots.

With the win, the reigning Masters champ returns to #1 in the Official World Golf Rankings.
This is Scheffler’s sixth career win.
For the win, Scheffler takes home $4.5 million, the largest paycheck in PGA Tour history.
Scheffler Goes on Run
Scheffler opened his round with a bogey on the third hole before making four straight pars.
He then went on a crazy run.
Scheffler birdied the eighth hole, ninth hole, tenth hole, 11th and 12th hole to pull away from the field.
The new World #1 made a bogey on the 14th hole, but then parred out to win with relative ease.
