Chatfield Misses Cut at Great Abaco Classic
Davis Chatfield has missed the cut at the Great Abaco Classic on the Korn Ferry Tour this week in the Bahamas.
Chatfield finished the tournament at four-over and the cut is one-over.
The former Notre Dame star posted rounds of 77 and 71.
Next up,Chatfield will be competing in the Panama Championship in Panama City from February 2-5.
Chatfield has six tournaments left on his exemption.
Chatfield’s Round
Starting the day at five-over for the tournament and needing a run, Chatfield’s round didn’t get off to an ideal start.
He bogeyed the third and fifth hole to go to seven-over for the tournament.
A birdie on eight got him to six-over as he turned at 37.
On the backside, Chatfield bogeyed the tenth hole to drop him back.
The former RI Amateur champ closed strong with birdies on the 14th, 16th and 18th holes to shoot 71.
