USA Wins Presidents Cup

The U.S. won their 12th Presidents Cup title in 14 tries on Sunday afternoon at Quail Hollow Club in in North Carolina. 

After it was looking like a blow out early on in the week, the U.S. went on to win 17 1/2 to 12 1/2.

Xander Schauffele clinched the winning point for the U.S. 

“It feels really good to win. It got close there for a little bit,” said Schaufelle. 

While Schauffele clinched the winning point, the U.S. was led by Jordan Spieth who went 5-0 in matches this week. 

Spieth was 13-under in singles and four-ball play. 

The U.S. team will now look ahead to next year’s Ryder Cup in Italy.
