Prout’s Mark Roberts Leads Rhode Islanders at NE Junior Open
Prout’s Mark Roberts led all Rhode Islanders at the New England Junior Open this week at Ledgemont Country Club.
Roberts finished 14th overall with a three-round score of 228 (15-over).
The 54-hole event started on Wednesday and concluded Thursday with Massachusetts’ Carson Erick winning the tournament.
Roberts was just one of a few RIers in the field.
Rhode Island Scoring
Other than Roberts, who finished 14th, La Salle’s Joseph Earley finished in a tie for 22nd, while Barrington’s Ryan Ricci finished 25th.
Joey Iaciofano finished 48th in the tournament.
Portsmouth’s Matt Siegal took 28th and Nolan Leonard took 51st.
On the girls side, Barrington’s Claire Mctaggart finished 11th.
