Billy Horschel Holds on to Win Memorial Tournament
Billy Horschel held on to win the Memorial Tournament on Sunday afternoon in Dublin, Ohio.
Horschel posted a 13-under par 275 for the tournament to win by four shots over Aaron Wise.
This is Horschel’s seventh win of his career.
Horschel’s Final Round
Starting the day with the lead, Horschel played the front nine in one-over par, making a bogey on the sixth hole and pars the rest of the nine.
On the back side, he dropped a birdie putt on the tenth hole, but then bogeyed the 12th hole.
That bogey gave Horschel just a two shot lead heading into the closing stretch.
However, he pretty much put the tournament on ice when he made an eagle on the par-5 15th hole to give himself a four-shot lead back.
He closed with a bogey on 17 and sealed the win with a par on 18.
