Cranston West Clinches Spot in State Championship Following 3-Team Playoff

Following an intense three-team playoff, the Cranston West Falcons have clinched a spot in the State Championship. 

West posted a team score of 173, while West Warwick and Pilgrim posted 189 and 191 respectively. 

West is the third team to clinch a spot in States out of the Central division after division winner East Greenwich, and Bishop Hendricken are already locked in. 

Leading Scorers 

West was led by Joey Corso, who posted a 39, while teammate Peter Vashon added a 41. 

Mike Decesare added a 45 and Nick Perrotta rounded out the scoring with a 48. 

West Warwick was led by Evan Firth who posted a 39, while Logan Jarbeau added a 47. 

West Warwick’s scoring was rounded out by Sean Correia and Nick Pedus, who posted 50 ad 53. 

Pilgrim was led by Richard Cavanaugh, who shot a 41, while Lucas Hemond added a 46. 

Devin Stevens and Lily Howard rounded out the scoring with a 50 and 54.
