Chatfield Climbs 9 Spots in Latest PGA Tour U Rankings
With the NCAA Tournament about to get underway in the coming weeks, former Rhode Island Amateur Champ Davis Chatfield is continuing to surge up the PGA Tour University rankings.
In the latest rankings released on Wednesday, Chatfield climbed nine spots and is now ranked 36th overall.
He is behind Clemson’s Kyle Cottam and ahead of North Carolina-Charlotte’s Matthew Sharpstene.
The top 15 players in the rankings get an exemption onto one of the PGA Tour’s mini-tours, while the top five players go straight to the Korn Ferry Tour.
Chatfield and the Irish will find out where they are going when the NCAA Tournament selection show takes place on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
