Chatfield Climbs 4 Spots in This Week’s PGA Tour U Rankings
Former Rhode Island Amateur champ Davis Chatfield climbed four spots in this week’s PGA Tour University rankings released on Wednesday.
Chatfield is now ranked 45th behind San Francisco’s Soren Broholt Lind and ahead of Wake Forest’s Parker Gillam.
The top five players in the rankings at the end of the season get an automatic exemption onto the Korn Ferry Tour.
The top 15 players get onto one of the mini tours.
Chatfield has moved into position to have an outside shot at the top 15 by seasons end. Good performances in the ACC Tournament and NCAA Tournament will get him close.
Either way, it has been an incredible second half run by Chatfield, who started the spring season ranked in the high 70s.
