Chatfield Jumps up 8 Spots in Latest PGA Tour U Rankings
Former Rhode Island Amateur champion Davis Chatfield jumped up eight spots in the latest PGA Tour University rankings released on Wednesday.
Chatfield is now ranked 49th overall behind Washington’s Noah Woolsey and head of Wake Forest’s Parker Gillam.
This is the first time that Chatfield has been inside the top 50 this season.
The top five players get an automatic exemption onto the Korn Ferry Tour, while the top 15 get an exemption onto one of the mini tours.
Chatfield and Notre Dame are getting set for the ACC Championship and then the NCAA Tournament.
If he plays well, there is a chance he could make another big jump or two.
