Sam Burns Repeats as Valspar Champion
Sam Burns outfield Davis Riley in a playoff to win his second straight Valspar Championship on Sunday evening in Palm Harbor, Florida.
Both Burns and Riley finished 17-under for the tournament, before Burns drained a long putt for birdie on the second playoff hole to take the title.
He is the fourth multiple winner of the Valspar Championship and joins Paul Casey as the only players to successfully defend at the event.
With the win, Burns moves into second in the FedEx Cup standings.
