Dickson Misses Playoff by 2 Shots at Korn Ferry Tour Monday Qualifier

Rhode Island’s Will Dickson missed a playoff by two shots at the Korn Ferry Tour Monday qualifier down in Louisiana.
Dickson posted a five-under 67 at OakWing Golf Club and the seven-under got into a playoff for one of the four available spots.

A few weeks ago, Dickson missed a playoff by just one shot, however, shortly after that, the Moses Brown grad went on to notch his first professional victory.
Dickson’s Round
Dickson got off to a rock solid start, birding the first hole and then the fifth hole to get to two under.
However, a double-bogey on the par-4 seventh hole set him back to even, but he got it right back.
Dickson hit the par-5 ninth hole in two and drained an eagle putt to turn at two-under 34.
At this point the four-time RI high school state champ is averaging nearly one eagle per tournament over the last several weeks.
On the back side, Dickson birdied the tenth hole, bogeyed the 11th and then rattled off birdies on 12 and 13 to get to four-under on the day.
Dickson saved pars on each of the par-5s and closed the round with a birdie on 18 to shoot 67.
