Will Dickson Finishes 11th at Crooked Cat Championship
Rhode Island’s Will Dickson finings in a tie for 11th at the Crooked Cat Championship on Thursday at Orange County National Golf Cub in Florida as part of the Florida Elite Golf Tour.
After a rough start to the first day, Dickson posted a 5-under 67 on Thursday to shoot a two day score of 137 (7-under) and finish 11th with several other players.
“Three-over through four and finished seven-under. I probably won the tournament for the last 32 holes,” Dickson told GolfNewsRI after the round.

The Moses Brown grad got off to a great start, birding the first and fourth holes, before bogeying the seventh hole to turn at one-under par (35).
On the back side, Dickson bogeyed the 11th hole, but then got red hot.
The four time Rhode Island High School Golf State champ birdied the 12th hole, before dropping a 30-foot eagle putt on the par-5 14th hole.
“The eagle on 14 was huge. It really kickstarted my back nine. total momentum shift,” said Dickson.
Dickson finished the tournament with birdies on the 16th and 17th holes to post a final round 67.
