Welch, Chatfield Climb in Latest PGA Tour U Rankings
Both Patrick Welch and Davis Chatfield moved up in the latest Pga Tour University rankings released on Wednesday.
Welch climbed two spots and now sits at number 29 in the rankings, ahead of Stanford’s Henry Shrimp and behind Arizona State’s Mason Anderson.
It should be noted that Welch’s win at the Southern Highlands Collegiate was not factored in to this weeks rankings.
Chatfield moved up four spots and now sits at 66th overall behind Alabama-Birmingham’s Nick Robillard and ahead of Marquette’s Hunter Eichhorn.
The top five players in the rankings get an exemption onto the Korn Ferry Tour, while players within the top 15 get an exemption onto one of the mini tours.
O’Leary Moves Up
RI’s Andrew O’Leary also moved up the rankings one spot.
O”Leary is now 111th overall behind Mississippi’s Jack Gnam and ahead of Indiana’s Mitchell Davis.
