Patrick Welch Climbs 3 Spots in Latest PGA Tour U Rankings

For the first time in this spring season, granted it is still early, Patrick Welch has moved up in the PGA Tour University rankings. 

This week, Welch climbed three spots in the rankings and now sits at 31 overall. 

He is just behind Arizona State’s Mason Anderson, and ahead of Tennessee’s Hunter Wolcott.

The top 15 players at the end of the season get automatic bids onto one of the PGA Tour’s mini-tours. 

The top five players go to the Korn Ferry Tour. 

Chatfield Stays Put

After moving up multiple weeks in a row, Davis Chatfield stayed put this week. 

He currently sits in 70th, just behind Liberty’s Jonathan Yaun, and ahead of Notre Dame teammate Taichi kho. 

O’Leary Moves Up 

While Welch climbed a few spots, Andrew O”Leary also moved up this week. 

O’Leary moved one spot to number 112 overall. 

He is behind Indiana’s Mitchell Davis and ahead of Cincinnatti’s Sam Jean.
