Chatfield, Welch Climbing Leaderboard at Jones Cup as Final Round Underway
Rhode Island’s Davis Chatfield and Patrick Welch are climbing the leaderboard at the Jones Cup Invitational as the third and final round is underway on Sunday.
After a second round 72, Chatfield is now in a tie for 16th for the tournament with his final round just getting underway.
Meanwhile, Welch is now in a tie for 51st for the tournament after hanging around the 60th spot for the previous two days.
The Jones Cup is one of the most prestigious amateur tournaments in the country.
Notre Dame’s Palmer Jackson leads the tournament at eight-under par.
