PHOTOS: Charlie Woods & Rhode Islanders Take on PGA National

The second and final round of the PGA National Holiday Open concluded on Tuesday afternoon down at PGA National Resort in Florida. 

The tournament featured the world’s most famous 12-year-old Charlie Woods, and three Rhode Islanders competing.

Woods was competing in the 11-13 age group where he finished 12th out of 25 players.

He was beaten by Rhode Island’s Joey Iaciofano, who finished in a tie for 8th at 13-over par. 

RI’s Rocco Capalbo finished 15th at 24-over par for the two-day event.

Woods finished the tournament in 12th after a second round blow up, where he shot 86.

Charlie was in third after round one. 

According to sources at the tournament, Tiger was not there watching his son, however, his ex wife, Elin was there.

In the boys 16-18 age bracket, La Salle’s Joseph Early finished in a tie for 16th with a two-day score of 25-over par. 

After an 81 in the first round, Earley fired an 88 in the second round.
