Will Dickson Makes Cut in 1st Pro Golf Tournament
Rhode Island’s Will Dickson has made the cut in his first professional golf tournament on Wednesday in the Savannah Quarters Open in Georgia.
Dickson fired a three-under 69 in his second round to make the cut by one-shot.
The cut was three-under.
The final round of the tournament will take place on Thursday.
Davis Thompson leads the way at 19-under par.
Dickson’s Final Round
After saving par on the first two holes, Dickson made back-to-back birdies on the third and fourth hole to get to two under.
Dickson made bogeys on the fifth and seventh holes, before closing the front nine with a birdie on the ninth hole.
Making the turn, Dickson likely needed another birdie or two coming in to guarantee a made cut.
And that is what he got.
Dickson dropped a birdie putt on the 10th hole, and another birdie on the 17th hole to close in 34 and shot a 69.
