Columbia Wraps Fall Season with Rain Shortened 5th Place Finish at St. John’s Invitational

The Columbia Women’s Golf Team wrapped up their fall season with a fifth place finish at a rain shortened St. John’s Invitational at St. Andrews Golf Club in New York.
The cancelation of the second round means that Alexis Florio heads into the winter off of a 5th place finish.

Florio fired a 73 to finish two-over for the day and four shots back of the lead.
Alison Paik wraps up part one of her first collegiate golf season with a 40th place finish.
Florio’s Round
Things did not start our great for Florio as she opened with a double-bogey six on the first hole.
She then bogeyed the third and fifth holes to get to four-over right off the jump.
Back-to-back birdies on the sixth and seventh holes would get her back to two over, before another bogey on the 8th hole would proper her back.
Florio made the turn at three-over.
On the back side, Florio birdied the 12th hole and parred in the rest of the way to finish two over for the day.
