Triggs Match Play Tournament Results
The Triggs Men’s Inner Club hosted its two-day match play tournament this past weekend.
The tournament featured five divisions.
The First Division finished in a tie with the teams of Bob “Digger” Degnan-Dave Sorafine and Ed Duclos-Ed Emond each had a 36-hole of 6-under par 138, one shot better than the duo of Tom Cabana and Joe Lovett.
Ken Mernick and Vin Beretta captured the Second Division with a total of 10-under 134.
That was three shots clear of runners up, Rick Bernard and Tom DiRocco.
Ed Allcock and Chris Bataitis won the Third Division with a two-day score of 11-under, 133.
Bob Xavier and Lou Federico were second, four shots back.
The McIntyres won the Fourth Division with a great two-day score of 12-under par 132.
Peter Gay and Steve Houle took second at 137.
The Fifth Division had the team with the best two-day score of the tournament, Lou Riquinha and Brian Cesario, who torched the field with an amazing 18-under par total of 126.
There was a tie for second at 135; Ron Price-Jack Cicilline and Bob Donahue-Scott Smith.
