Forcier Needs Huge Rally to Make U.S. Mid-Am Cut

The first round of the U.S. Mid-Am was delayed due to weather, however, one thing is clear.
If RI’s Billy Forcier wants to make the match play cut, he will need a huge rally on Sunday.
In his opening round at Miacomet, Forcier fired a seven-over 77 and sits in a tie for 219th.
He will now play Sankaty Head Golf Club on Sunday.
The top 64 players make the match play cut.
Forcier’s Round
Forcier got off to a good start, saving par on the first three holes before things took a turn for the worse.
Forcier bogeyed the fourth hole, and then bogeyed three of the final five holes to post a front-nine score of 39.
On the back side, Forcier birdied the tenth hole, before bogeying five of the next seven holes.
He closed with a birdie on 18 to post 77.
