Wannamoisett Wins Button Hole Cup
Team Wannamoisett won the Button Hole Cup for the second straight year.
The Button Hole Cup was introduced last year to raise scholarship funds for underprivileged youth to learn the game of golf.
The tournament consisted for 14 teams from RI golf courses across the state.
“The 1st Annual Button Hole Cup was a great success raising scholarship funds for underprivileged youth to learn the game. 14 teams from RI golf courses competed ; CONGRATS to Wannamoisett CC who won the Cup for the 2nd time!! Many thanks to all the participants and donors; We hope the new comers enjoyed the facility and playing the course. We look forward to seeing everyone back next year – or sooner,” writes Button Hole.
