Allison Paik in 3rd After Round 1 of MA Women’s Stroke Play Championship
Former Wheeler star Allison Paik is tied for third place after round one of the Massachusetts Women’s Stroke Play Championship at Ledgemont Country Club.
Paik shot a four-over par 77 in the first round to tie with Danielle Lee.
Paik is seven shots back of leader Rebecca Skoler, who sits a three-under for the tournament.
She tees off at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
Paik’s First Round
The Columbia University soon-to-be sophomore opened the round with bogeys on two of the first five holes before getting a birdie putt to drop on the eighth hole.
She made the turn at one-over.
On the back side, Paik bogeyed the tenth hole, but bounced back with a birdie on 11.
However, the closing stretch was rough.
After saving par on 12,13,14 and 15, Paik bogeyed three straight holes to shoot a first round 77.
