New York City Ends Contract with Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point
The hits for President Donald Trump keep on coming in the world of golf.
On Wednesday, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio terminated its contracts with Trump related to Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point.
“The city of New York will not be associated with those unforgivable acts in any shape, way or form, and we are immediately taking steps to terminate all Trump Organization contracts,” said de Blasio in a statement.
This comes just over a week after Trump supporters stormed the Capitol, resulting in the death of five people.
On Sunday, the PGA of America announced it will move the 2022 PGA Championship from Trump National Golf Club in New Jersey.
On Monday, the R&A pulled Trump Turnberry from the Open rotation.
About Trump Golf Links
The course was designed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus’ and built on a former landfill for $127 million.
It opened in 2015.
