VIDEO: Fred Funk Chips in for Birdie on 18 to Make PGA Tour Cut at 64

Fred Funk has made the cut at the PGA Tour’s Bermuda Championship at the age of 64.

To make it, Funk chipped in for birdie on the 18th hole to move to 1-under par, and one shot inside the cut line.

In a cool, heartwarming moment, Funk’s son, Taylor, who was playing in the group, knew the significance of the chip and began the celebration.

Funk is just the fourth player to make a PGA Tour cut at 64 after Tom Watson, Jack Nicklaus and Sam Snead did it.
