Pinecrest Holds 1 Point Lead Heading into Day 2 of Ryder Cup

Pinecrest Golf Club holds a one point lead over Kings Crossing heading into day two of the Ryder Cup on Sunday.

Pinecrest leads 10 1/2 to 9/12 after the first day of matches. 

They need 16 more points to retain the Ryder Cup, while Kings Crossing needs 17.5 points to win it. 

On Sunday at Pinecrest, the players open up with a two person scramble, before going to singles matches on the second nine. 

Kings Crossing has never won the Ryder Cup.
