Triggs’ Tramonti Finishes T20 at NEPGA Section Championship
Triggs Memorial’s Robert Tramonti finished in a tie for 20th at the 100th New England PGA Section Championship at Myopia Hunt Club and Tedesco Country Club in Massachusetts.
After shooting a 71 and 75 in the first two rounds, Tramonti posted a 79 on Wednesday to finish in 20th place.
He is tied with four other players.
Falmouth’s Shawn Warren won the tournament with a three day score of one-under par.
It is Warren’s second straight Section Championship.
“To go out and shoot 4-under yesterday to give myself that big cushion going into today allowed me to relax and not have to grind it out all day,” Warren (Falmouth CC) said after his round.
It also marks the third Section Championship of his career.
