Quigley, who entered the final round with a one stroke lead, was looking for his second Champions Tour victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Furyk earned his first victory, on any tour, since 2015.

He now heads to the PGA Championship.

Quigley Falls Short

Quigley entered the final round with a one shot lead over Furyk, Carlos Franco an Tommy Armour III.

Franco and Armour faded early, leaving just Quigley and Furyk to win the title.

Quigley birdied the par five 16th hole to pull into a tie for the lead with Furyk.

However, his par putt on 17 lipped out to give Furyk the lead and control of the tournament.

Quigley would also bogey the 18th hole to finish in a tie for second with Retief Goosen.
