Love III to Leave CBS Golf Broadcast Team
Davis Love III has announced that he will be leaving the CBS Golf broadcast team to return to playing on Tour for the remainder of the season.
“CBS gave me a tremendous opportunity to be a member of their great golf team. I appreciate and am in awe of the amazing work they produce each week. Since golf returned in June, CBS has allowed me time to focus on my family, play a few tournaments, and bring some stability back in a difficult year. I have realized in this time my passion to play is still strong, and my heart yearns to be home,” said Love in a statement posted on his Twitter account.
He added, “Beginning next week at the PGA championship my focus returns to playing, and supporting my family.”
The PGA Championship will begin on August 6 at TPC Harding Park.

He and his wife managed to escape from the burning home, but they lost pretty much everything.

He also won the Players in 1992 and 2003.
