Webb Simpson Wins RBC Heritage
Webb Simpson won the RBC Heritage by one shot over Abraham Ancer on Sunday evening in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
The win was Simpson’s seventh of his career and jumps him to number one in the FedEx Cup Standings.
He is the third player with multiple wins this season.
The tournament finished just as the sun was setting after there was a two hour rain delay.
Simpson Gets Hot
After getting off to a slow for the day, just two-under through 11, Simpson got hot when he needed it.
He birdied 12, 13, 15, 16, and 17 to take a two shot lead into the clubhouse.
Ancer had a 47 foot putt on 18 to tie Simpson, but the putt came up short.
